After prints were created under the auspices of artists’ publishers, Pablo Picasso worked with the Parisian printer Daniel Jacomet to create graphics based 'after' his watercolors and paintings. Picasso closely assisted the printers throughout the entire process; he selected each image and decided which technique to use, worked with Jacomet, and corrected and approved the proofs. He authorized the production of the work.
