Condition: Pristine / Excellent condition. The vibrant vermilion red, intense black, and deep blue pigments remain extraordinarily fresh and perfectly preserved.
Signature & Annotations: Hand-signed by the artist in pencil in the lower right margin; title PERSONNAGE ROUGE annotated in pencil on the reverse.
Deeply rooted in the raw expressionism of the CoBrA movement and Nordic mythology, Personnage Rouge depicts a striking red totem-like figure with a powerful, mask-like face. It dominates the scene while embracing or confronting a secondary dynamic figure in white and black tones at the bottom.
Heavy black contours, expressive graphic lines, and touches of vivid cobalt blue create a visceral sense of drama and elemental energy typical of Lindström's finest graphic works.
