Good condition, toned and dusty et edgesFrom a portfolio "Quelque Fleurs Pour Des Amis" (Some Flower for Friends), this Pochoir after watercolor by Spanish Surrealist artist Joan Miro was dedicated and signed in plate to his friend Louis G. Clayeux. Louis Gabriel Clayeux was a French dealer and critic. From 1948 to 1965, he was the director and curator at the Galerie Maeght in Paris. He was a very close friend as well as Giacometti’s first patron. Very close to the late French President Francois Mitterand, he was the one to suggest the concept of Le Grand Louvre.
