An exceptional piece of art history executed by master printer Charles Sorlier at Atelier Mourlot, Paris for a traveling exhibition series sponsored by the French Ministry of Culture. Hand-signed in ink by Marc Chagall lower right. Originating directly from the prestigious personal collection of Jean Drapeau, the legendary Mayor of Montreal.

Condition: Good vintage condition appropriate for its age. Features minor creasing/handling marks along the outer paper margins and a few faint spots on the blank white border, strictly outside the printed image area.

Signature: Hand-signed in ink lower right "Marc Chagall".

Provenance: Formerly in the personal collection of Jean Drapeau (1916–1999), the historic long-serving Mayor of Montreal who transformed the city into an international cultural center (initiating Expo 67 and the 1976 Summer Olympics).
