Gerhard Richter – Küchenstuhl, 1965 is a limited edition print with only 100 copies. In the 1960s, Richter devoted himself to seemingly banal everyday life. The pictures are painted in black and white according to the models from newspapers or family albums, but the contours are blurred. The blurriness covers the memory like a veil and suggests something mysterious.
